Carribean Travel Restrictions
With the 5th wave we are aware that traveling can be scary, and in order to reassure our customers we are writing this article to indicate the different travel restrictions for the Carribean depending on the destination islands.
Carribean Travel Restrictions
Restrictions are always changing and thus it might be difficult to wrap your head around them. We have created a short summary of the restrictions to popular Caribbean Destinations to give you some reassurance when planning your Winter / Spring vacations.
- British Virgin Islands: To travel to the British Virgin Islands, unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers must complete an online form within 24 hours of the date of travel and will need to isolate 4 days for partially vaccinated travelers and 7 days for non vaccinated travelers. Fully vaccinated travelers do not need to complete the online form but must present a negative PCR test from less than 5 days and will be tested upon arrival. - Saint Martin : To travel to Saint Martin, you must complete an online form before departure (authorizing or refusing entry). Non-vaccinated travelers must present a PCR test less than 72 hours old (and compelling reason if coming from France). Vaccinated travelers must present a PCR or antigenic test less than 48 hours old (antigenic test not accepted for non-vaccinated travelers). More information on the official website.
- Saint-Barthélémy: To travel to Saint-Barthélémy, you must complete an online form. Vaccinated travelers must present proof of complete vaccination schedule and a PCR or antigenic test less than 48 hours old. Non-vaccinated travelers must present a PCR or antigenic test less than 48 hours old (as well as a compelling reason for the French). More information on the official website.
- Grenadine Islands: People from all countries, vaccinated or not, are now allowed to go there. To get to know the conditions, please visit the official website.
- US Virgin Islands : To go to the Virgin Islands of the United States, you must complete an online form ("Travel Screening Portal") . Covid Tests (PCR or antigenic) must be taken within 1 day of travel. All non-U.S. citizens/non-U.S. immigrants must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination. - Guadeloupe : Travelers being fully vaccinated must provide a proof of vaccination and a negative PCR test to be carried out within 72 hours or antigenic test within 48 hours before the flight. Non vaccinated travellers must present a compelling reason as to why they are traveling to the Guadeloupe Islands and will be subject to a mandatory 7-day quarantine. - Martinique : Travelers being fully vaccinated must provide a proof of vaccination and a negative PCR test to be carried out within 72 hours or antigenic test within 48 hours before the flight. Non vaccinated travellers must present a compelling reason as to why they are traveling to the Martinique and will be subject to a mandatory 7-day quarantine. - Antigua and Barbuda : To get to Antigua you must be fully or partially vaccinated and present a negative PCR test within 72 hours before the flight. Unvaccinated travelers will not be able to travel to Antigua. More information on the official website.

These restrictions are posted on the government websites for each island at the time of publication : 17th December 2021. It is appropriate for everyone to find out more depending on the country of departure for any stay abroad.
