Getting to know Francis Joyon

Born in 1956, distinguished French yachtsman Francis Joyon has set multiple world records, including the fastest solo circumnavigation in 2004 and the fastest crewed circumnavigation in 2017 aboard his trimaran IDEC Sport. Furthermore, his crewed journey around the globe was completed in just 40 days, 23 hours, 30 minutes, and 30 seconds, establishing the absolute fastest maritime circumnavigation record. Joyon's ability to push the limits of sailing speed and endurance has made him a legendary figure in the world of competitive sailing!
