Day 1: Arrival in San José, Costa Rica’s Capital

-Upon arrival at the airport, the brokers were greeted and transferred to the Marriott Hotel. The welcome was hosted by the Origen Escapes team, a luxury travel agency specialising in creating tailor-made trips in Costa Rica, offering creative and efficient solutions for superyachts and visitors, including itinerary planning and yachting services.

Day 2: Flight to Golfito and Embarkation on CHRISTINA O

-Private flight with Fly Sansa from San José to Golfito, a hidden gem of Costa Rica, renowned for its untouched nature, lush jungle, world-class sport fishing, and eco-tourism—an ideal location for an authentic getaway.

-Experienced a warm welcome at Marina Bahia Golfito, a shining example of Costa Rican hospitality. This exceptional destination features a beachfront hotel and a state-of-the-art marina, perfect for travellers seeking immersive natural experiences. With its brand-new, rapidly expanding facilities, Marina Bahia Golfito is quickly becoming a must-visit spot on Costa Rica’s coast. This was followed by a transfer by tender to the yacht—a spectacular arrival!

-Introduction to the crew, including the Chief Steward, Captain, Tim Morley (Yacht Manager), and Felipe (Origen Escapes representative).

-Tour of the luxurious Onassis Suite, a lavish suite with beautiful furnishings, vintage décor, and a stunning view. Guest cabins were then assigned, with each guest receiving personalised welcome gifts.

-Grand departure towards Golfo Dulce, one of the world's rare tropical deep-water fjords. This Costa Rican ecosystem is surrounded by thick forests is rich in biodiversity, home to dolphins, hammerhead sharks, and humpback whales. As the yacht set sail, dolphins unexpectedly joined the group, playfully following the vessel—an extraordinary welcome!

-Afternoon of relaxation, that included onboard massages (in one of the yachts two dedicated massage rooms with two experienced masseuses), snorkeling with dolphin sightings, and then watching the sunset on the beach with a local coconut expert.

-Exceptional dinner in the grand dining room of CHRISTINA O.

Day 3: Marine Exploration – Snorkeling, Kayaking & Watersports

-Breakfast under the Costa Rican sun, followed by a leisurely morning onboard.

-Kayaking excursion through pristine mangroves, organized by Origen Escapes. Costa Rica’s mangroves are fascinating ecosystems between land and sea, playing a crucial role in coastal protection, biodiversity preservation, and carbon sequestration while serving as a refuge for numerous marine and terrestrial species.

-Afternoon of action-packed activities, including snorkeling, watersports, using the yacht’s waterslide, and a stroll along the beach.

-In the evening, a three-course dinner on the upper deck, featuring a fun and interactive challenge where each guest had to showcase a special talent—a lively and entertaining event!

Day 4: Adventure in the Osa Peninsula – Ziplining, Horseback Riding & Rappelling

-Horseback riding adventure through the jungle, leading to an ancient 300-year-old, 35-meter-tall tree, which guests could choose to climb before riding back. This experience provided an opportunity to observe Costa Rica’s rich flora and fauna up close.

-Thrill-seeking activities, including ziplining and waterfall rappelling, deep in the wild Costa Rican nature!

-Afternoon on the water, featuring an introduction to flyboarding—an exhilarating and unique activity aboard a yacht! This thrilling watersport uses a high-pressure water jet connected to a jet ski, propelling riders into the air, allowing them to dive, hover, and perform gravity-defying tricks—an unforgettable flying sensation!

-Evening relaxation in the yacht’s pool, followed by a gourmet indoor dinner and a team quiz on the history of CHRISTINA O.

Day 5: Hiking & Deep-Sea Fishing in Golfo Dulce

- Guided hike with Osa Conservation, an organization dedicated to preserving the unique biodiversity of the Osa Peninsula, protecting endangered ecosystems, conducting scientific research, and involving local communities in conservation efforts. Thanks to knowledgeable guides, we encountered numerous species, including monkeys, spiders, parrots, and butterflies.

- Afternoon at sea for deep-sea fishing, with impressive yellowfin tuna catches and sightings of pilot whales and spinner dolphins—the latter known for their spectacular spinning leaps out of the water.

-Sunset dolphin encounter, followed by a bioluminescent swim. This mesmerizing natural phenomenon occurs when marine microorganisms, such as luminous plankton, emit a blue glow in the water at night, creating a magical spectacle!

-Final dinner onboard, with heartfelt thanks to the crew for an exceptional experience.

Day 6: Marina Golfito Visit & Return to San José

-Final goodbyes and signing of the CHRISTINA O guestbook.

-Personal thanks to each crew member for their hospitality and outstanding service.

-Meeting with the Director of Marina Bahia Golfito, who presented the marina’s services and future development plans, followed by a presentation from Origen Escapes on their exclusive itineraries and bespoke luxury travel offerings.

-Tour of Marina Bahia Golfito, followed by a farewell meal at the marina’s restaurant.

-Private return flight to San José with Fly Sansa, marking the end of an unforgettable journey!
