We are delighted to announce that the Y9 has won the Design & Innovation Award from the renowned Boat International magazine.

YYachts wins Design & Innovation Award

The Design & Innovation Awards were presented last night at the Superyacht Design Festival in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. Initiated by BOAT International, one of the world's best-known superyacht magazines, the 29.77-meter YYachts slup BELLA won in the "Outstanding Exterior Design Sailing Yachts" category. The award is the fifth for the german shipyard YYachts since 2016. The Design & Innovation Award is considered very prestigious worldwide and is awarded by an independent jury of experts. Michael Schmidt, founder of YYachts, comments, "Our team is insanely happy about this beautiful award. We are playing on par with the established players."

The jury was also full of praise for BELLA: "The yacht stands out because its design intelligently meets the client's specifications and is so easy, comfortable and fun to sail that it will delight even powerboat owners." The exterior look and lines were developed by the yard's in-house team in collaboration with Tripp Design & Naval Architecture of the U.S., one of the most renowned yacht design studios in the world. 

Several 90-footers are currently under construction at YYachts, as well as other models from the YYachts portfolio.
